We sat down with Brenton to delve deeper into his incredible achievement.
How does it feel to be recognised in the Top 20 AFG Finance Brokers in Queensland?
I’m genuinely humbled and grateful to be recognised as one of the top brokers in Queensland. It’s a badge of honour that will set us apart from other brokers.
Ultimately it is testament to the trust and confidence our clients place in us.
And for those perhaps looking for a broker but not sure where to start, it’s that little bit of extra peace of mind that we are a finance broker that you can rely on.

What factors have contributed to your success and helped you earn this place in the Top 20?
There are almost 4,000 finance brokers across Australia that partner with AFG, so to be recognised individually in the Top 20 here in Queensland is just incredible.
There are a series of criteria and benchmarks set by AFG that you must exceed to be nominated, but for me I would attribute my success to teamwork.
We have a terrific team and everyone in the business works hard and goes above and beyond in every aspect, without such good team members none of us would be as successful as we are.
We’re a family run business and I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without those around me – my mentors, colleagues, and of course our amazing network of clients.
Our clients refer their family and friends to us, and that’s one of the big reasons why our client base continues to grow each year.
What sets the Dream team apart when it comes to securing loans and serving your clients?
I believe it’s all about being there when our clients need us the most. We pride ourselves on providing prompt responses and being available.
Our knowledge of the market is another key differentiator – we’re not limited to one sector of the industry. And we keep it real with our clients. We’re down-to-earth and honest.
This positive attitude, our commitment to finding the best outcomes for our clients, and never saying no to a hard deal. In fact, we love tackling a challenging finance deal, they help us grow and continually learn new ways to succeed.
Imagine this was your on-stage Oscar’s moment, who would get a shout out in your speech?
The Dream Financing team are undoubtedly the backbone of our success, and a big part of the reason I’ve been able to reach the Top 20.
Firstly, Jordan my wife is to thank, she founded the accounting side of the business and works tirelessly day in and day out to support me and our clients so without her I would not be as successful as I am.
I couldn’t have gotten to this point without my mentors, Warren Pavey and Tony Smith. They provided invaluable guidance during my early days when I was cutting my teeth as a broker which is now what Warren is also doing and has been training Courtney as a broker.
Also, Amanda my loan processor who runs the day-to-day processing and document chasing and keeping me in check. Without her hard work and dedication, I would not be as organised and not be able to provide the service I do.
And of course, out clients who place their trust in us.
For many of them, it’s a lifelong partnership. We might start out helping secure finance for their home or a business vehicle, and it builds from there to financing a commercial property, business vehicles or new equipment. It’s because of their support and loyalty that we stand tall today.
We love working continuously with clients and helping them grow their wealth and success, whether that be helping them build a business into a success, or buying their lifelong dream home or building a property portfolio. They are all equally as important to us.
What has being aligned with AFG meant to you?
AFG is one of the largest finance broking aggregators in Australia. Of the almost 11,000 brokers across the country, more than one third are partnered with AFG including us! Some of our clients may not have heard of them which is very normal. Simply put, AFG have provided a foundation for the backend processing management that has simplified our operations.
This has allowed us to focus on what we do best: serving our clients. Their support laid a solid foundation for Dream Financing to shine and deliver exceptional service.
Looking ahead, what’s next for Dream Financing?
Our focus is to keep delivering exceptional service that we’re known for. We are proud of what we do helping our clients achieve their dreams.
We know we do a great job and being recognised in the Top 20 in the state is just further proof of that!
We of course want to keep challenging ourselves and growing, but our focus always will be on serving our clients.
